THE BOARDING SPOT

The Boarding Spot is a small scale boarding facility operated out of our own home. Whether your pets are coming for one night or an extended stay, we promise they will receive the best care possible. The owner was a veterinarian technician for many years, so she can even administer all sorts of medications including injectable medications. While your pups are here they will enjoy free roam of the place and get to romp around with other dogs staying here. We have nine spaces for dogs and only one space for a cat (or multipe cats from the same family only). So, we are most definitely a small scale operation and because of this your pet receives more one on one attention! They can enjoy just hanging out as they would at home, including couch cuddles which are a specialty here. Dogs get to be out and about throughout the day, however, they are kenneled overnight and for brief breaks when the owner runs errands. All dogs are separated in their own kennels when eating.

As long time pet owners we realize the importance of having a place you can bring your pets that is stress free and comfortable while you are away. We take so much pride in being able to provide truly top notch comfort for your pets with all the comforts of home.
All pets are required to come with their own food.
Dogs and cats are required to be up to date on their rabies and distemper vaccines. Please have these vaccination records available at time of booking.
We do require a 2 night minimum for weekends, 3 night minimum for any 3 day holiday weekends, 4 night minimum stay for Thanksgiving week and a 5 night minimums for any school vacation week breaks including February break, April break and Christmas/ New Years break. If you don’t need you pet/s to stay with us for the required minimum nights but you’d still like to book them here with us during these time there is a cost equal to the minimum nights stay cost.
PRICES
Prices are per night with an afternoon drop off and a morning pick up on the day of discharge. A half day charge does apply for morning drop offs or afternoon pick ups. We do charge for the full reservation cost even if you pick up earlier as we are blocking off the spot and making it unavailable for someone else. There is a 50% deposit required 7 days before reservation start date. Failure to pay this deposit may result in cancellation on our end. Once this deposit is paid it is nonrefundable.

We are by appointment only during our business hours. This is due to needing to put dogs away when people and their pets come and go.

Sat-Sun 9:00am-11:00am & 3:00pm-5:00pm

While we are here to care for your pets for all holidays we are not open for pick ups or drop offs on New Years Day, Juneteenth (June 19th), Independence Day (July 4th), Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We also do not have any afternoon hours on Christmas Eve. We observe our weekend hours on any other holidays when we are open.

WHAT DO YOU SUPPLY FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING?
Pets that stay with us are provided with beds, blankets, cots, toys, dishes, crates and play pens when needed.
MY PET HAS A SPECIAL DIET. CAN THEIR NEEDS BE ACCOMMODATED?
Absolutely! Bring your pets food with them and let us know about any allergies so we know not to give them certain treats while they are here. Bring special allergy friendly treats if you can, because we love being able to spoil your pet with treats while they are here.
HOW CAN I CHECK ON MY PET DURING THEIR STAY?
You can follow us on Facebook for fun updates with videos and/or photos of your pets or call, text or email anytime to check in on your pet and we can provide updates and pictures of your pet enjoying their stay.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH MY PET?
We provide most things but pets will need their own food and medications. Please always bring extra of both incase of unexpected extended stays.
IS THERE SOMEONE ALWAYS WITH MY PET DURING THEIR STAY?
We live here so we are always here overnight and we are here most of the time during the day. However, we do still leave from time to time. All pets are separated in their own space when left alone.
WHERE DOES MY PET STAY WHEN YOUR SLEEPING OR NOT HOME?
Pets are kenneled at night and while we are away. This is for their own safety. Some dogs become desytructive while left alone or could get in altercations with other pets and we would never want to put your pet in harms way.
DO YOU OFFER DOGGY DAYCARE, HOUSESITTING OR PET WALKING SERVICES?
Unfortunately we do not provide any of those additional services. We pride ourselves on the care your pets will receive while boarding with us and we feel that at the moment if we provided additional services we wouldn’t be able to give as much one on one time here with your pets.
